What is BodyTite?

It is a minimally invasive procedure that focuses on body contouring and which utilises Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) technology. Compared with other traditional liposuction which is only responsible in removing fat, is all about both the inside and outside of your skin to bridge the gap between non-surgical treatments and other major surgery. It is specifically designed in liquifying fat cells while simultaneously contracting your skin’s fibrous tissues.

It is a specialised procedure which also uses a targeted application of RFAL technology. It is specifically designed in treating delicate areas of the face and neck. It is commonly described as a non-surgical facelift as it actually provides significant lift and contour results without the need of large incisions or any extensive scarring which is commonly associated with a traditional rhytidectomy.

The primary function of this technology is its dual-probe handpiece. It uses a thin internal electrode which is inserted through a tiny pinprick incision into the fat layer of your skin while there is an external electrode gliding over your skin’s surface.

As radiofrequency energy continues flowing between the two, it will precisely heat the fat and skin layers. This thermal energy method actually has three critical tasks:

Medical Review: You will be undergoing a comprehensive review of your medical history done by your practitioner. Set Your Goals & Realistic Expectations: This is very important for patient satisfaction. Your clinician will assess your skin’s elastic potential which will confirm if RFAL technology can really achieve the tightening that you desire.

The procedure is minimally invasive and would typically be performed in an outpatient setting. This would often take between 45 and 90 minutes, but most of the time it will still depend on the number of areas that need to be treated.

Local Anaesthesia & Small Incisions: Compared with other major surgery, the majority of the patients only require local anaesthesia in the specific area only and possibly a mild sedative. The practitioner will then make a tiny pinprick incision which is usually around 2mm to 3mm wide only. This will allow the internal probe to enter.

RF Probe Use + Targeted Heating: The internal electrode is now inserted into the fat layer of the skin while the external electrode is gliding over the skin. As the rf energy flows between them, it is creating a thermal field which is responsible in liquefying fat and contracting the fibrous septa
